And so far I've always gone to Recklinghausen or Bochum 🫣

I've wanted to visit this cinema for a long time because I like the idea/concept.
Now for Avatar 2 I've finally made it.
I'll digress, the review is getting long.
Before going to the cinema:
Parking is available free of charge on the market square depending on the time of day, but parking spaces can also be found in the surrounding streets.
I don't think it's barrier-free (I didn't see an elevator). A small staircase leads to the 1st floor and then I was amazed at how small the cinema really is.
A small anteroom separated with a small partition/counter. To the right snack bar and cash register/entrance and straight through the lounge and toilets.
Everything clean, tidy, stylish and well maintained.
On the left are the cinemas. I think 3 or 4 pieces?
In the cinema hall:
Despite its small size, the room was tiered like large cinemas, which I think is great. I know a lot of old, small cinemas where you sit entirely on the floor. Dumb!
We had recliners that were in the front row. Lying down like that, the position was perfect. I still had my scarf with me as a pillow, but it was fine without it.
In the last row are the D-Box seats. We'll try those next time.
As a regular moviegoer, the technology didn't seem noticeably worse to me than a UCI with IMAX. Sure, the screen is larger in the IMAX, but the ratio is proportionate to the room. The sound and picture were good, even in the front row I didn't feel the need to sit further back.
Gladly again!
Prices:
€14.50 per person on the weekend for an extra-length 3D film with reclining chairs. There's nothing you can say. That's even cheap.
1€ for glasses if you don't have any.
Popcorn and drinks: we took a bundle consisting of large (delicious by the way) popcorn and two iced teas (0.33). That cost a total of €10. Very fair. At the UCI/Cinemaxx and the like we would certainly have paid at least €15 more for the evening and sometimes additional parking costs.
The employee was also friendly and helpful.
